Loved everything about this place. The description was spot on. The only difference is the couch and chair cushion is different now. It was very clean and well maintained. The view off of the lanai was spectacular! My husband talked to the maintenance man that lives on the property quite a bit and he was super nice and knowledgeable. It’s super close to everything. One of the best places we found to eat was about a 10 minute walk from the condo to a field that has 12 different food trucks. The bed was super comfy. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit to. The grounds around the building are kept up really nice. The pool was kept at the perfect temperature and the BBQ’s were cleaned every day. We definitely will be booking this place again!

We booked Kaleialoha because we could not get into the place we normally stay. Best decision, this condo was amazing. The condo it’s self was beautiful. With all the windows it was open and bright and we did not need to use the air conditioning, it was very comfortable. It was clean and well equipped. This condo is right next to a lovely beach where you can swim or snorkel with the turtles every day. The pool was great, we used it every day. Overall we had an amazing time and will definitely book at Kaleialoha condos again, our new favourite place to stay. Lonnie was amazing to work with, very kind and quick to respond. We stayed in 204 for 8 nights in January 2020. It had everything we could have asked for as far as amenities (cookware,appliances, beach stuff, binoculars, linens , etc. It has had some really nice upgrades done to it. The fridge with the water filter and the ice machine were both fantastic and much appreciated surprises.
The grills downstairs were close and easy to use and also readily available.
The pool area was also nice, a great place to cool off of after a busy and hot day.
The location was great, a couple of miles from Whalers and a couple more from front street. Definitely glad we had a car.( free parking was included). There’s a Safeway within a 5 min drive that had everything we needed.
The turtles and the abundant whales were so wonderful to see every day right from the lanai.
This corner unit gave us the sounds of the ocean and a cool breeze - we didn’t even use our air conditioning once !
No beach access at all near us as the tide was quite high.
We highly recommend this unit.
Also this rental agency was great to work with. Answered all of our questions quickly and were very helpful.

Really good place to stay. Convenience was perfect if you want to be in the west side of Maui, and even towards the middle was an ok Drive. Turtles came in every morning around 10, and since the rental was so close to the beach, we could see them from the balcony, and minutes later swim with them in the ocean. I would highly recommended this location for anyone who loves sunsets too. Thanks again to the owners.

Great location. The rental process is very proffessional & up front on all of the charges. Condo was very very nice & all of the upgrades were very well done & tasteful. The kitchen is well outfitted. The grounds are very well kept. It is very quiet. It being a corner unit you have windows on 2 sides so it seems much larger & is much airier then an internal unit. The AC unit has a secondary timing box/unit which has no explaination of how to make the unit work. Once you know the box is there, trial and error should make the AC come on. If you are lucky, people in the neighboring condo property will welcome the sunset by using large sea shells as horns in the Hawaiian tradition. It is a virtual sea turtle highway just in front of the sea wall. The ocean feels very safe as it is not very deep from the sea wall & the neighboring beach out to the lava/coral ridge. The highway from the airport to the unit is 2 lane & very busy along the coast. Allow extra time incase it is slow. We had a wonderful stay. The only detraction I have to note is the cleaners could do a better job on the floor. It is dark brown porcelain tile & if you walk barefooted or in stocking feet they will become dirty fairly quickly. The rest of the unit was very clean as were the appliances, linens, & bathroom. If we stay on Maui again we would not hesitate to stay in this unit & enjoy the turtles & the magnificient sunsets.

We had such a wonderful stay in our condo in Maui!!
The view from the balcony could not be beat! We enjoyed the sunset there almost every night and regretted the nights we didn't make it there in time. We saw turtles every day from the balcony, which was delightful! The kitchen is wonderful, updated, and fully stocked with any supplies we needed. There was quite a collection of spices and cooking oils in the cabinets which was incredibly helpful.
What we really loved about this condo is it's corner location which gave us windows in our bedroom and an additional wall of windows in the living room. This allowed us to have a nice breeze come through the windows and to hear the ocean while we slept. I think if we were in another interior unit without these bedroom windows we would have been warm and uncomfortable at night. The a/c is in the living room only, just a heads up, although I doubt you will ever use it.
The location of the condo is fantastic! It is by some great restaurants and a good grocery store. We travelled all over Maui during our stay, and the grocery prices by this condo were the lowest we saw. You are able to walk to some restaurants if you choose (1/2 mile is the closest). Check out the Fish Market-some great fish tacos and fresh fish to cook at home if you'd like.
Check-in and check-out was made very easy for us, with emails before our arrival providing great directions and what to do when we arrived. We had a late flight out when we left Maui, and they were wonderful helping us out with our late departure.
We loved our stay here and if we are ever able to travel to Maui again, we will definitely come back to this condo.

This is a very nicely decorated corner unit on the second floor. Being on the corner, we got a nice cross breeze and enjoyed hearing the waves crash and birds singing from the bedroom. It was well furnished and tastefully decorated. Really enjoyed being so close to the water and watching the sunset from the lanai. Several sea turtles were right at the shore almost every day. This building is one of many along the stretch of beach, but the way it's situated you feel a bit secluded and very private. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed in #204 and were very happy with our accommodations. It was modern, clean and provided us with many unexpected items which made our stay easier and more pleasant. (binoculars, ice packs, coffee filters, flotation boards, thermos bags). Supposedly the fan in the bedroom had been updated recently. It was quite strong which helped cool the room down. We left the bedroom windows and blinds closed and ran the ac in the living room all the time. We set up the portable fan in the hallway leading to the bedroom and blew any cool air into the bedroom. Overall, that kept the bedroom cool.
It was wonderful to watch sunsets and sea turtles from our lanai which we did everyday. Overall, a beautiful, reasonably priced accommodation on an island which can be very expensive for hotels.

Lonnie was super helpful, the condo was the best of the many we have sampled in the Lahaina area. We especially enjoy the proximity to the water, the views to Lanai and Molokai and the incredible sunsets. This particular unit delivers on all counts; remodeled interior, great amenities, helpful management good and a well maintained property. We enjoyed the high surf during our visit and driving to the nearby public access beaches to snorkel. We do plan to return to this unit.

We just love Maui ! We have have stayed in numerous areas on the island but the area where this condo is located is our favorite. Very quiet, close to shopping and best of all, right on the water. I live and work on Maui and chose not to leave the island for some needed time off from work. I work at Grand Wailea so wanted a more laid back, quiet place where I would not be bothered by lots of noise and activity around my room.
The corner unit was great. I spent most of my time on the lanai staring at the ocean. Everything about the room was perfect.
I went fishing up the road and came back and grilled my catch on the grill outside and had great meals. I loved being able to walk into the ocean feet from my room.

We've been staying at the Kaleialoha for approx. 20 years. One of our favorite places on the island. Each unit is ocean front, and during whale season my wife likes to sit on the Lanai and watch the ocean for signs of whales. Location is very quiet and located close to supermarket, fast food, gas, and activities. Since every unit is privately owned, decoration varies from unit to unit. You occasionally run into the housekeeping people in the parking lot, and they are very friendly and helpful. Speaking of parking, each unit has 1 parking space provided at no additional cost. A big plus for the islands.

Our time at Kaleialoha #204 was excellent! The corner unit view is exceptional; watching the sea turtles swimming right below. The unit is very well equipped and we were lacking nothing. We took a sunset sail with Sail Maui and went to the Old Lahaina Luau, both booked through a site recommended by Lonnie. Had a great time at both. Visited the Kula Botanical Gardens and Maui Winery. Overall, the condo we stayed in at Kaleialhoha was very nice, enjoyable, easy to get to, near several nice, public beaches, and in a great location for shopping, large or small. The only issue with the condo was our bathroom shower/tub drained slow, but everything else made up for it. It was corner condo with louver windows allowing for a nice wind to keep it comfortable. The view was spectacular. The protected reef made for nice swimming and snorkeling just out our door. We look forward to staying there again, and I recommend it to anyone traveling to that area.

My wife and I have stay in four different units over the last six years. the office staff and maintenence personal are wonderful to work with. The buildings and grounds are always clean and well maintained. Every unit has a different owner and different tastes so you see a variety of decorating and upkeep. Some have been upated recently and others not for years. When occupied 85% of the time they get a lot of wear and tear. We overlook some stains and scrapes, but really unkept places are reported to the propety manager to notify the owner we won't stay in that unit agein unless they update and cleaned it. Overall we have enjoyed every stay and plan on booking for 2014 as we saw some units we have yet to stay in. Go and have a good time. You should only be in your room for a few hourls daily anyhow. We stayed in West Maui from 12/2 -1/9/14 in #204 and #211. Due to availability we had to switch condos mid way. Both condos were nice with amazing views. #211 was more updated, completely remodeled. Extra bathroom storage, self closing cabinets & shower with sea turtle tile inlay were an added plus. #204 was a corner unit with more windows but unit was dated. Master bed was more comfortable in #211 but pull out sofa was more comfortable in #204. Due to severe weather in Chicago we had to extend our stay for an additional 4 nights. Best excuse ever for missing work!. The property manager Lonnie & her daughter Brie were very accommodating and were able to find us another condo for the extended nights.
I read some earlier reviews that said the condo was far from the action but we didn’t experience that. We chose not to rent a car due to the high cost. Had no issues taking the bus. Bus picked up & dropped off in front of the condo. Daily pass was $4.00. Shopping & dining were less than 3 miles away. Grocery & farmers market were less than a mile either way. A quick bus transfer at Whalers Village and we could head into Lahaina for more shopping & dining.
Spent our time doing the usual, watched the sunset every night, stood in line at Gazebos for macadamia/hazelnut pancakes & fried rice. Attended a Luau. Snorkeled with Trilogy. Visibility was ok, you could see the coral reefs, turtles & fish.. They had a great crew and the food was excellent.
Airport transportation was expensive. Managed to negotiate a taxi for $70 rather than the usual $100. Overall we had a great time. Weather was nice every day, warm, breezy & sunny. Had a view of Molokai and the ocean. Rainbows appeared out of nowhere and stayed for hours. Saw tons of giant sea turtles & a few whales right outside our balcony! Couldn’t ask for much more. Really felt like we were in paradise. Would definitely come to the island again and stay at Kaleialoah. Hope to be back next

The condo was clean, had a fantastic view, and was within either walking distance or a short drive away to great beaches and restaurants. The instructions were easy to follow and not hard to find (on how to check in/out, etc.) and the condo was stocked with toiletries, guide books, and water activity accessories. The only downside was that there isn't a beach (with sand) right outside the condo, but the rocks provide a bit of a haven for green sea turtles, which are fun to watch.

We stayed in Unit 204, which is a corner unit on the South end of the building, facing the ocean. We stayed for 10 days from March 28 to April 7th over Easter. When I first unlocked the door and walked in, I was overwhelmed. It was about 2 pm and as you walk in, your first view is of the ocean, just right there...with the ocean breeze blowing over was just (as I said) overwhelming. And my opinion for the next 10 days really didn't change...every time we turned that key and walked in to see that ocean view...unbelievable. The corner unit is great for allowing breeze through the unit. We saw whales from the lanai. There were 3 resident turtles at the time, always somewhere on the rocks. The unit itself has been recently updated, new granite counter tops, bathroom shower set up is magnificent - easy to wash out swim clothes, etc. As others have said, its not fancy, but if you want a view and full conveniences, it was great. Also, you are close to shopping amenities, and to many other beaches. We really enjoyed the location. You can also catch a bus a few steps away from the unit. We hope to return.

The condo, unit #204 was exactly as described on the Internet. Everything we needed was there. We loved the end unit as we had great cross breezes and the view is priceless. The condo was (partially) renovated with more to come. Very nicely done, can't wait to return to see the finished updates!!!

We loved this condo! The location was great...you couldn't get any closer to the ocean, unless you were on a boat. The view from the condo was magnificent! We loved the lounge chairs overlooking the water. The condo was newly renovated, clean, and very comfortable. It's close to beaches and a 10-15min drive to Front St in Lahaina. We saw several sea turtles right in front. We absolutely loved it!

Kaleialoha unit #204 was the perfect condo for our recent visit to Maui. It is tastefully decorated, contains a well stocked kitchen, and has an absolutely stunning view from the lanai. The complex is very quiet and close to many restaurants and shops. We will return soon!
